Did someone say pizza?
Did you say pizza? Am I hearing things now? What, we’re going for pizza?
This is an insight into what is going on in my head 99% of the time. It’s a really sad fact that my favourite food is pizza. It’s the first thing I think of in the morning and the last thing I think of before I go to bed. I’m a sucker for bad boys, a bit of a heartbreaker which is why – since my body is meant to be a cheese-free temple – I’m probably so into that bloody pizza pie.
After watching Jackie in the cinema on Sunday (great film), I headed to Topolski. This place sits under the arches just outside of the station in Waterloo. The architecture is stunning, one moment it looks like marbling, the next it looks like a smudged canvas from the 18th Century.
They have a concise pizza menu, but it’s got all you need. I went for the mushroom pizza, which was cooked amazingly quickly. Arriving on a wooden board, pre cut, with napkins, it was easy to get stuck straight in.
It’s quite arty in there so you can afford to wear something cool and edgy, or at least try to. I don’t pull off cool and aloof very well.
I went for my dungarees and Aztec shirt (which is actually part of a co-ord). Dungarees are so comfortable, such a good throw-on item and a black fitted pair can easily look smart. These were a great buy from New Look (they were super cheap).
The colours in the blouse allow you to experiment, I wouldn’t just opt for the safe option of black when it comes to accessorising. You can wear red to bring out the red, white to bring out the white, etc.. – I went for silver because metallics go with everything.
However, these shoes should come with a warning: People stare!
Until next time, peace and kisses
